SUMMER READING LIST—2009-2010 school year
All Teurlings Catholic students are required to read at least one novel during the summer. An objective test is given on the novel and the grade is included as part of the first quarter grade. In addition, the first writing assignment in each English class is a diagnostic essay based on the summer reading novels. Students have the option of taking the test(s) during the first week of school or on one of the scheduled test dates during the summer. Students in the Honors English classes are required to read the honors selection as well as one of the regular novels for the appropriate grade level. All students are encouraged to read an additional novel for extra credit. This is the only approved extra credit assignment allowed at Teurlings. CLICK HERE for the Summer Reading Guide.

Page Loads since September 2002:
Someone asked us what "Page Loads" are, in reference to the counter
directly
above. Every time someone views the TCH homepage and certain other pages on
this website, it increments the Page Load counter. So as of January 16,
2008, when I wrote this text, people had viewed the pages that get measured
570,536 times since September 2002! Now, if you look closer to the bottom of
this page, you'll find another counter. That counter only counts how many
people view this page. It does not count any other pages on the site.
