Theology Classes

Faith Formation Through Study & Reflection

Theology is a core part of the academic experience at Teurlings Catholic High School. All students are required to take a Theology course each year, engaging in a four-year sequence designed to support intellectual, spiritual, and personal formation.

Through the study of Sacred Scripture, Church history, moral theology, Catholic Social Teaching, and the teaching of the Catholic Church, students engage faith as both an academic discipline and a lived tradition.

Theology Curriculum

The curriculum is sequenced across grade levels, beginning with foundational concepts related to the human person, morality, and spirituality. Students then progress through the study of Salvation History and Sacred Scripture, the beliefs and history of the Catholic Church, and conclude with courses focused on the reasonableness of faith, Catholic Social Teaching, and vocation.
