Teurlings Catholic has both girls and boys swimming. Students who elect to join the swim team must practice after school. Practice sessions begin in August and continue through the state championships. Swimming is open to all students.

Information on events:

1500 meters is a mile. They swim an average of 4500 meters at practice or 3 miles.

Individual Medley Relay: One swimmer does Butterfly Stroke, Backstroke, Breast Stroke then Freestyle.

Free Style Relay: All four swimmers swim Free Style

Medley Relay: 1st Swimmer does Back Stroke, 2nd Swimmer does Butterfly Stroke, 3rd swimmer does Breast Stroke then 4th swimmer does Freestyle.

Boys compete against the Boys and Girls compete against Girls.

Each Swimmer competes against themselves for their best time.
