Applications Available (2012-2013 school year) - Thursday, January 5, 2012
Feeder Schools:
• Applications for students attending Carencro Catholic, Immaculate Heart of Mary, St. Bernard, St. Genevieve, and Sts. Leo-Seton will be delivered to those schools for distribution. Follow individual guidelines.
Non-Feeder Schools:
• Applications will be available at TCH.
Important:
When remitting the application, include all required documents and signatures. Failure to do so will result in the application being returned to you for completion, thereby delaying the admissions process. Please do not send original documents.
Siblings of students currently enrolled at TCH must follow these same procedures and comply with the deadlines. Failure to remit an application by the deadline will result in the student being placed in line with others on the waitlist.
There is no application fee; registration fees are due at registration, following acceptance to TCH.

Teurlings Catholic High School strives to provide its students with both a superior education and an appreciation for the values of the Christian heritage into which they are baptized. Thus, every applicant to Teurlings Catholic High School is deserving of serious consideration as a potential recipient of our best efforts toward Catholic Christian education. However, the physical facilities and the design of the curriculum impose upon admissions personnel duties to accept, out of a sense of justice, students who demonstrate the ability and desire to achieve while pursuing an education at Teurlings Catholic High School.
Teurlings Catholic High School admits students of any race, or gender to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally made available to students at the school. Teurlings Catholic High School does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion or gender, the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and financial aid programs, athletics, and other school administered programs.
All first-time Teurlings Catholic High School students will be admitted on academic and behavioral probation for the first year. During the first year, students who fail to exhibit appropriate, acceptable behavior will not be allowed to continue their education at Teurlings Catholic High School. Academically, a student must demonstrate a satisfactory degree of progress in all course work in order to continue.
The admission’s committee will base its consideration for selection using the following criteria: past and current report card evaluation, standardized test score review, behavioral consideration, priority ranking as described in "Admissions Priority" and other relevant information.
Applications for admission to Teurlings Catholic High School are made available on the first school day in January of each year. The deadline is the last school day of January of each year. Should a first priority student fail to file his or her application within the deadline or fail to register at the time of in-house registration, the applicant loses priority status and is placed after those on the wait list.
Applications must be completed and returned to Teurlings Catholic by applicable deadlines. Please refer to Tuition and Fees
for further information. (Points earned by each applicant is held in confidence by TCH Administration and Admissions Office)
Legacy:
Applicant will earn points for each grandparent (maternal or paternal) who is a graduate of TCH.
Applicant will earn bonus points if he/she is a direct third generation TCH student to enroll.
Alumni
Applicant will earn points in one parent is a graduate of TCH, additional points if both parents are TCH graduates.
Sibling Attending TCH
Applicant will earn points for each TCH sibling.

ADMISSION TO TEURLINGS CATHOLIC
The number of openings is typically fewer than the number of qualified applicants.
Teurlings Catholic High School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color or national or ethnic origin in its educational policies, financial aid programs, or other school-administered programs. Admission at every grade level is based on a point system of priority ranking, coupled with selection criteria, such as standardized testing scores, previous school records and transcripts. Applicants are encouraged to begin the admissions process in January of the preceding school year for which they are applying.

If a student is asked to leave Teurlings Catholic High School because of academic or disciplinary problems, he or she will not be readmitted. Once a student is dismissed from school, the student may not reapply for one calendar year. If he or she leaves for other reasons, readmission will be contingent on available space at the time he or she wishes to be readmitted to Teurlings Catholic. The student must then follow prescribed admission procedures. No student, who because of academic reasons, is ineligible to return to his or her former school or who has a history of suspensions, or serious behavior problems will be admitted to Teurlings Catholic.
