Pentagon in Washington D.C. is damaged when terrorists hijack 4 U.S.
passenger jets leaving thousands dead.
October 5, 2001 - Bob Stevens, a photo editor with he supermarket
tabloid, The Sun, comes down with inhalation anthrax which marks the
beginning of several such cases in which some victims die, caused by
malicious postal mail.
October 7, 2001 - U.S. and British forces start attacking Afghanistan
